Charles Lloyd: Transcendent Jazz

Charles Lloyd’s latest album Mirror is a gem. Frankly, we can’t stop listening to it here @ Jazz Online. It is brilliant. Featuring a new quartet consisting of pianist Jason Moran, bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Eric Harland, these four musicians have a very special chemistry and deliver a moving collection of music that ranges from free expression to swingin’ to soulful to spiritual.
