Living Room Spin: Kyle Eastwood

“At home we had music all the time. My father always made sure I listened to jazz. He took me to the Monterey Jazz Festival every year. What was really great was that being the son of Clint gave me backstage access to all the gigs and I was very fortunate to meet and talk with Sarah Vaughan, Stan Getz and all the legends.”
– Kyle Eastwood

Bassist Kyle Eastwood has obviously got jazz in blood. Aside from the fact that his famous Dad introduced him to the masters, he has steadily worked hard at finding his own voice on his instrument and crafting a repertoire of music that represents himself with credible flair and passion. Kyle’s latest album Songs From The Chateau is a great listen and features a variety of tasty work from Eastwood himself as well as his band including trumpeter Graeme Flowers, saxophonist Graeme Blevins and pianist Andrew McCormack. Enjoy & share!
